To begin this taste experience, Margherita serves her city’s most iconic export, Parma ham with fresh melon and homemade walnut bread. 

Next, we have a delicious first course, ‘tortelli alle evette’, pasta parcels stuffed with delicate herbs and tossed in a butter and parmigiano cheese sauce. Then, for the second course, we have veal stuffed with artichoke and spinach, accompanied by a fresh salad from the garden. 

This feast of flavours concludes with an inviting semifreddo with almond and amaretti crisps - absolutely unmissable.

Margherita welcomes us into her lovely apartment near the city walls of Parma to take us on a tour of her local flavours. This part of Italy has a particularly rich culinary heritage, and much of its produce has become famous all over the world, so you’ll already be familiar with some of these dishes! 

“In Emilia-Romagna, cooking is a very serious business indeed, and is the glue that holds families together," explains Margherita, "this is why I became such an enthusiastic cook at such a young age.”
