In the eternal city of Florence, everything is wonderful - food included. There are so many traditional dishes, for example 'black crostini alla ribollita', which have become world-famous, which is what makes Tuscan cuisine so rich and delicious. 

If you want to taste the real traditional cuisine of this city, it would be best to rely on someone who has known it her whole life, like our Cesarina Roberta. Mother of two lovely boys, cooking is her passion. She attended various cooking courses and she knows perfectly the great classics of the Florentine cuisine.

Description

This Tuscan taste experience begins with a simple and appetising starter. Roberta serves up bruschette with fresh tomatoes, accompanied by ‘sweet and sour’ vegetables with salami from cinta senese.

Next, we have ‘pappa al pomodoro’, a delicious Tuscan tradition, which is made with bread, tomatoes, basil and spices. This dish has roots in the peasant cuisine of the region, and is carefully prepared with the freshest local ingredients for a truly flavoursome result. For the second course, we have a succulent grilled steak with a side dish of grilled vegetables, accompanied by a fresh mixed salad. 

For dessert, Roberta opts for a classic zuppa inglese. This dish is prepared all over Italy but originates from Tuscany, and the local people are always proud to serve it at their own tables for this reason!
