Fortunata takes us on a journey through the flavors of Campania, and does so by opening her Taste Experience with one of the best known local products of this region: buffalo mozzarella. This is only the beginning, however - to complete the appetizer, the table will be filled with typical Avellinese cured raw prosciutto ham, ricotta from Montella, Monte Terminio salami, and delicious homemade pickled vegetables, eggplant and baby artichokes.
As a first course, delectable 'conchiglioni' pasta shells with a ricotta and smoked cheese filling, served with strictly homemade tomato sauce. For the second course, Fortunata offers veal chops and eggplant parmigiana, an elaborate dish very popular in local cuisine, which she prepares according to the recipe inherited from her Grandmother Nunzia.
We sweetly end the Taste Experience with a delicious apple cake prepared, once again, according to Grandma's recipe.
