Description

White asparagus is typically produced in the Varese area, that has always supplied Milan with fruits and vegetables. For this reason, Marcella serves them to begin her Taste Experience, mixing them with some warm salad, potatoes and 'gremolada’ sauce.


For the main course, we have some delicious ‘ malfatti’ pasta  with ricotta and spinach, and light meatballs enriched with butter and spring herbs. After that, the traditional veal in ‘tonnato' sauce 'al rosa', with tomatoes and basil as side dish.

Finally, the dessert is truly irresistible! In fact, our Cesarina serves one of the classics of the Lombard tradition: 'Amor Polenta', garnished with a tasty vanilla sauce and with a spicy cherry compote.

Marcella is a real food lover: «I have loved cooking since I was a little girl. I was lucky enough to grow up in a family of fantastic chefs; we often had guests at home and we really liked making dishes with top-of-the range products».

Our Cesarina’s passion led her to her current job: in fact, for many years Marcella was a food-stylist for advertising campaigns and videos and then, in 1999, decided to dedicate herself to working full-time in the food service industry.
