HOME FOOD SRL intends to protect and safeguard the personal data of its users and this document is intended to help you understand what personal information we collect and how we will use it. For this reason we invite you to carefully read out policy which applies in all cases in which you access our website and decide to browse it and use our services, regardless of whether you make a purchase.
This page describes what personal information is collected through our website www.cesarine.it, mobile applications, social media, and other online services, and in the same way, users' rights (consultation, update, and deletion), how they may be used by us, and finally, our system of protection of such data.
1. THE DATA CONTROLLER AND PROCESSOR
The data controller is the company HOME FOOD SRL, headquartered in Bologna at Caprarie 5, VAT 03416251209, (hereinafter "HF"), who may be contacted at their registered office or by email at email@example.com.
The data processor, in the execution of the rights granted to the user by article 7 of the Privacy Code, is the legal representative of HF, domiciled at the registered office of the company. The updated list of all data processors may be requested at any time via email of HF.
2. NATURE AND TYPE OF DATA COLLECTED AND HANDLED
The personal data (or personal information) are the data that identifies, or makes identifiable, the user. Information of a non-personal nature, and that closely related, will also be considered Personal Data.
A. CONTACT INFORMATION
When you contact our site, our services collect Personal Data that help us understand your preferences and questions, and help us provide an answer. These data include personal information about yourself (such as your name, email address, telephone number) for purposes of contact. Information required for contact is marked with a "*".
B. REGISTERING WITH THE SITE
Upon registration with the site, we collect your full name, email address, password, city of residence, telephone number, and gender as Personal Data. Information required for registration is marked with a "*". Registration is compulsory for the booking of an Event. When registering with the site, you will be able to decide whether or not to receive our newsletter, which contains information and updates about our Events.
C. ORDERS, SERVICES, AND TRANSACTIONS
Registration is compulsory for the booking of an Event. When you submit an order for an Event, we collect the following Personal Data: personal information relating to registration (i.e., full name, email address, password, city of residence, telephone number, and gender); information relating to the Event (menu choice, any indication of diet, allergy, or intolerance of yours or of other Event guests); information on method of payment (PayPal or credit card, number thereof, billing address, tax code/VAT, date of birth).
In case of submission of an application through the appropriate section of our website, the information provided - such as personal information (name, address, email address, telephone number, gender, date of birth) and other information relating to your personal history as a "cook" and your experience as a chef, or related to the menu you would like to propose, on the presentation of the food or at your home, are collected as Personal Data. Information required for registration is marked with a "*".
E. NAVIGATING OUR WEBSITE
During use of the website, as Personal Data, we may automatically receive and collect the URL (uniform resource locator) of the website you came from and the website visited by you when you leave. We may also receive and collect the IP (internet protocol) address of your computer, the type of operating system, and the browser you use, the ID of your mobile device and its operating system (if accessing the website with a mobile device) and the name of your ISP (internet service provider) or mobile operator. We may also receive and collect data related to your location, which we may use to improve our services and for marketing purposes. For example, we may use your location data to identify the Cesarina closest to you and/or special promotions in your area.
3. MANNER AND PURPOSE OF THE HANDLING OF PERSONAL DATA
The collection of personal data is used primarily for the rendering of requested services or those that we believe will optimize the use of the site. The user accepts that HF may use personal data for the following purposes.
a. MANAGEMENT OF REGISTRATION, PROCESSING OF TRANSACTIONS, AND PROVISION OF REQUESTED EVENTS
Your Personal Data are used by us to create and manage your registration, to process orders, and to provide all services connected to and offered by HF.
B. KNOWING YOUR PREFERENCES
Your Personal Data are used by us to better understand your needs and interests in order to improve our culinary itineraries, offered services, and to personalize our communication with you. On the basis of your past choices, it will, for example, be possible to offer you personalized itineraries and send you invitations for events, cooking courses, and special offers.
C. NEWSLETTER AND OTHER MARKETING
In the event you have chosen to receive our newsletter, your Personal Data will be used by us to send you advertisements, including that of third parties. HF marketing communications may be made via email, with the sending of announcements of events, products, special offers, promotions, give-aways, and invitations, but also requests for participation in surveys or other marketing research.
Your Personal Data are also used by us for purposes other than marketing, such as, for example, to communicate with you about your purchases or requests and to inform you about changes or updates to the site.
We use the Personal Data you provide in the "submissions" section of our website dedicated to finding new Cesarinas in Italy or abroad.
F. LEGAL OBLIGATIONS
We may use your personal data to identify, investigate, or prosecute potentially illegal, illicit, or harmful activity to fulfill our legal obligations in accordance with Italian law, or under court order, or in the public interest or that of national security.
4. SCOPE OF THE DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA
A. INFORMATION SHARING WITH THIRD PARTIES
Your Personal Data - for example, those related to services (orders, credit card payments), marketing (newsletters, catalogs, marketing and statistical research and analysis), and internal commercial and administrative functions (management/maintenance of our website, accounting, legal affairs) - may be shared by us with affiliates and third-party companies for the exclusive purpose of the rendering of our services.
HF will not communicate your Personal Data with any affiliate or third-party company for reasons not connected to the direct provision of or assistance in HF's rendering of services without your consent.

HF may disclose your Personal Data when required by law, by order of Judicial Authority, or in the event that HF has reasonable grounds to believe that the disclosure of such information is necessary for investigation, prevention, or taking of action related to suspected illegal activity, or the assistance of the state authorities of control and supervision; enforcement of the Terms and Conditions of Contract, and defense against any claim or allegation by third parties, or protection of the company's website; or execution and protection of the rights, property, or security of HF, its affiliates, its clients, its employees, or any other party.

A. REQUIRED OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF DATA PROVISION.
Please note that if you choose not to disclose required Personal Data (*) or provide incomplete and/or incorrect Personal Data (see allergies or intolerances), we will not be able to achieve the main purpose of data collection, being the provision of the requested services. Refusal may result in HF's inability to execute the contract of purchase or provide other services given on the site (for example, in order to effectuate a booking, registration with the site must be completed). The provision of additional data differing from those indicated as being essential (i.e. those marked with a "*") is optional and of no consequence in the achievement of the main purpose of collection.
B. RIGHT OF ACCESS
At any time you may exercise the rights set forth by Article 7 of the Italian Privacy Code and Article 12 of EU Directive 95/46/EC.
You are entitled to obtain confirmation from HF of the handling or absence thereof of personal data about you, even if they have not yet been recorded, and their communication, in intelligible form. You also retain the right to obtain information from HF regarding the origin of your personal data, the purpose and manner of their handling, the logic applied in case of handling carried out with the aid of electronic instruments; identifying details of the data controller and supervisor, indication of the parties and categories to which the data may be communicated or who may come to know about them.
You always have the right to ensure that your personal data be corrected, modified, or deleted, with a written request addressed to HF at the postal address of the registered office, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
C. REQUESTING NOT TO RECEIVE NEWSLETTERS AND MARKETING MESSAGES
You may object to the sending of our newsletter and marketing messages with the appropriate option when registering on the site, or by modifying your preferences in the appropriate section of the site for registered users, or by using the unsubscribe link in any of our messages, or by sending an email to request unsubscription from the service at email@example.com. Unsubscription will result in the automatic termination of the sending of marketing messages to the email address that you specify.
D. LINKS TO OTHER SITES AND NAVIGATION COOKIES
HF neither controls nor monitors other sites to which there may be links from www.cesarine.it or their content. HF therefore cannot be held responsible for the content and rules applied thereby in relation to your privacy and the handling of personal data during your navigation of them. We therefore encourage you to pay attention when you connect to other sites with the links on our website and to carefully read their conditions of use and privacy policies.
